Industry gears up for the greatest show on (saving) Earth

With the UK's biggest environmental exhibition just weeks away edie takes a look at what's on offer at SustainabilityLive!

The trade show, organised by edie's parent company the Faversham House Group, is made up of four individual exhibitions, each catering for a particular section of the environmental sector, and will take place at Birmingham's NEC from Tuesday, May 20 to Thursday, May 22.

Full details of all of the co-located shows can be found on the SustainabilityLive! website but keep reading for a taste of what's in store.

The shows will host over 400 exhibitors and more than 100 hours of seminar content looking at such diverse subjects as new Government plans for greening business, latest developments in the battle against climate change and how the building industry is adapting to meet the needs of the environmental agenda.

The four shows are:

· Environmental Technology & Environmental Services (ET&ES)

· International Water % Effluent Exhibition (IWEX)

· Brownfield Expo (BEX)

· National Energy Management Exhibition (NEMEX).

For Sustainabilitylive! 2008 there is over 100 hours of seminar content tackling issues such as Government new green business strategy, 8th annual climate change conference, building certificates and many more topical and insightful issues.

The events provide plenty of opportunity to catch up on technological and regulatory developments across the board - as well as make business contacts and see what the competition has been up to.

edie will also have a presence at the show where we will be celebrating our tenth anniversary so feel free to drop by our stand and meet the team - we might even give you a birthday present!
