British Cycling is the governing body for all six cycling disciplines for racing in the UK. Formed in 1959 through the amalgamation of the National Cyclists Union and the British League of Racing Cyclists, it has been based at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester since the early 1990s.
Originally hosting its website with a high-profile competitor of UKFast, British Cycling realised that as the firm evolved it needed to move from a Windows platform to a Linux solution. However, when the time came to move, it questioned whether its provider was able to offer a high enough level of support.
Moving to a Linux-based solution hosted by UKFast has helped British Cycling meet its business objectives, and it can now look forward to achieving its projected goals over the next 12 months.
With support around the clock, it knows its data is always safe and its server is always looked after.
