Young Sporting Hero of The Year

Do you know a young person who has excelled in their field – or improved dramatically – and is a credit to their sport?

The Young Sporting Hero of the Year award will go to a student who has gone above and beyond to achieve their best or who can demonstrate the most improvement in their sports department or team.

Open to primary, secondary, college and community teams, the winning nominee will be able to demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship, dedication and commitment to theirsport and is a true team player.

For the last nine years, Rebekah Hopper has shown immense dedication and commitment to her athletics training, leading to her success in a variety of disciplines. A true sporting hero, she is now in training to become a coach to give back and inspire others to get involved with the sport.
