The UKFast Public Sector team provide cloud services and solutions for hosting of applications and secure data sharing for UK Government departments and organisations that work with them.
Providing excellent service and support to our customers is fundamental to our business, and must start from the very beginning of a project. Due to the nature of the sector that the team operates it, many of our projects are large and complex requiring the delivery of a technical solution that can be supported through life, but must also adhere to the regulations and compliance obligations that are relevant to the sensitive nature of the data and services we deliver.
Managing multiple projects concurrently, the successful applicant will ensure that the requirements and expectations of each customer are clearly understood and that the project delivery is planned and managed to ensure completion is on time, within budget and to the highest standards. The project manager will act as the key point of contact with our customers until the project is successfully handed over to the Service Delivery team.
Reporting to the Public Sector Director of Operations, and as a member of public sector management team, this role provides the opportunity to establish and grow a team, develop the processes and procedures for project management within the team and the wider UKFast business, and play a key part of the development of the Public Sector division.
