Our MarComms (Marketing and Communications) team play a huge role in the success and growth here at UKFast and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mid Weight Designer to join this talented team.

Our role

In this role, you will create engaging content across a range of business and technology topics, including cybersecurity, cloud, eCommerce and more. Working closely with the MarComms team, you will play an integral part in supporting Senior Creatives in producing and delivering campaign and brand creative including blogs, brochures, social posts, newsletters and campaign material.

Responsibilities

  • Thinking creatively to produce high-quality design solutions.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including conceptualisation, design and development of print, social, paid      and display advertising as well as website collateral as and when required. 
  • Working with senior designers and stakeholders to evolve the brand collateral. 
  • Supporting the wider marketing team and the broader business with general artwork requests.
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality in all work produced and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Helping to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

 

The successful applicant will

  • Have relevant graphic design experience in a commercial environment and able to show a portfolio of work.
  • A degree in a relevant subject. 
  • A minimum of 2+ years design experience
  • Be highly competent in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. 
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for layout and typography
  • Have great communication skills 
  • NB: An interest or experience in illustration and/or animation is desirable but not essential.
