UKFast are currently on the lookout for a Key Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team and play a crucial role ensuring that our key customers receive an outstanding level of service at all times while delivering commercial success to UKFast. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in building strong business partnerships at C Suite level within the technology sector.

What’s the role all about?

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for circa 20 key customers identified as being a high value customer, being high risk or having high growth potential. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building strong, strategic partnerships within these accounts across multiple levels of the business and will be accountable for the growth and retention of these accounts.

The Key Account Manager will bring together a Key Account team for each customer to be built around the client and based around the individual solution and requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring regular monthly, quarterly and bi-annual meetings are arranged which will involve challenging, and educating clients from a technical and commercial perspective, and matching their business challenges with UKFast/ClearCloud solutions.

As many of our Key clients have products that span across multiple teams within UKFast, the Key Account Manager will be responsible to ensuring that communication and service across these departments is seamless, and that clients experience is exemplary.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for ongoing management and updates to a Strategic Account Plan. They will be expected to provide forecasts for each client and report to the Board regularly on the health of each client relationship.

What will my responsibilities be?

  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with UKFast Key customers and clients
  • Offering consultative and technical advice in order to upsell relevant UKFast products and services
  • Negotiating contract upgrades and renewals
  • Working to exceed monthly revenue targets and KPIs
  • Arranging face to face and video meetings to build on existing relationships.

What skills do I need to have?

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager within the technology sector
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
