IBM Challenges HP For Not Providing Enough Work
HP is taking IBM to court today after they requested over £6m of payment without doing any work.
IBM is arguing it is owed the money under a contract with HP Enterprise Services Defence and Security UK, for a previous IT deal with the MoD.
IBM say that HP has not given them enough work to do, but they are still owed the money and therefore is suing the software giant for payment of £6,575,302.
HP has refused to pay the invoice which apparently is in breach of the contract.
IBM have also complained about HP's working conduct,as it alledgedly cancelling partly finished jobs, failed to honour promises, and withdrew task forms during negotiations.
IBM is therefore suing HP for payment of £6,575,302 plus VAT as well as interest.
