VMworld Europe 2019 is right around the corner! Taking place from 4th to 7th November in Barcelona, the four-day event offers incredible opportunities for education, training, and insights into current and future trends related to digital infrastructure technology and transformation.
It offers all attendees the chance make new connections, get direct experience and training with hands-on labs, and discover new product breakthroughs. VMware executives and experts are there to meet with attendees, lead workshops, and give keynotes. And finally, VMworld Fest on the last evening provides food, drinks, games and music. Popular groups such as Blink182 and The Kooks have performed in the past.
It’s safe to say that for anyone in the tech industry, VMworld is a highlight of the year – including our own Director of Enterprise Technologies, Chris.
Chris explains: “UKFast attends VMWorld every year because it’s amazing! It’s effectively a week-long training exercise with over 500 training courses that you can subscribe to. As a partner of VMware, we’re extremely passionate about VMware’s products and VMworld is a huge opportunity to learn massive amounts about upcoming tech.”
Another reason we’re so excited about this year’s VMworld Europe is that we’ll be on stage with VMware talking about their latest vRealize Network Insight (vRNI) offering, as a case study partner.
Chris said: “We’ve had vRNI for more than two years now and have recently adopted the latest vRNI 5.0 version, which we’ll be talking about at this year’s event. vRNI is a log collection and analysis tool that enables us to get deep insight into the network traffic and performance of our cloud platforms. It also provides information about individual traffic flows throughout the environments – including CPU, disc, memory and performance – in a really easy-to-query fashion.
“We’ve deployed vRNI across all of our estate and the technology greatly enhances our visibility to trace things when we’re having problems, as well as generate trend prediction and carry out analysis for customers. The main advantages we experience are the ease of access and speed of troubleshooting, as well as the granular recording of information.
“It’s simple to deploy, easy to manage and does the job really well. You can query it using natural language rather than having to type in complex code so for training purposes that’s an added bonus. Overall, vRNI is an incredibly useful tool and we’re delighted to be able to share our insights with the wider industry.”
Chris will be giving his talk on vRNI alongside VMware in 6th Nov 12:30-13:30 (Session ID CNET1692BE) if you want to attend.
We’ll also be going to tonnes of training sessions about the full suite of VMware software, and a lot of executive meetings to continue to work on our 2020 strategy with VMware.
Finally, for anyone attending VMworld Europe 2019, we can’t wait to see you there! And if you fancy a VMware chat with Chris or one of our fantastic team, please drop us a message on our social channels.
