Data centre management

Data centres need to be areas of high security. Every single server stored within a data centre has the potential to contain vast amounts of information. Depending on the organisation that owns the server, and its purpose, each piece of hardware could contain anything from personal details to business client lists, records of work, programming codes, patient details and financial informational. This information, if leaked, would breach the Data Protection Act a million times over and compromise the security and privacy of potentially millions of people.
