Types of private cloud offered by UKFast:

Private hosting offers cloud solutions with a predetermined number of physical machines. By applying the latest technology to these physical servers our UKFast technical experts create a private cloud environment which means that all servers used by you are virtual cloud servers.
A hybrid cloud will have all the components described above. In addition, it will include some physical servers which are used as standalone machines. This model uses traditional managed/dedicated hosting and incorporates cloud technologies where it is sensible.

The cloud model you choose will depend upon several factors: the size of your business, IT resources, time to market (speed of implementation) and security requirements.

For example, SaaS in the public cloud provides organisations with limited resources, with a way to implement a required application quickly and with low upfront costs. A private cloud, on the other hand, requires more initial investment but offers behind-the-firewall security assurance.
