The "Wear It Pink" charity currently supports around 106 projects worth £16.3 million in 38 centres across the UK and Ireland, which is why every year at UKFast we encourage people at work to dress in pink (or Halloween attire since it is was the last work day of October) for the day on and donate at least £2 to to help the charity continue researching cures for breast cancer.
The 'Wear it pink' campaign is an award winning fundraising event which occurs annually in October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is why we like to take part by all Wearing It Pink and through games like Apple-bobbing and also my selling home made cakes and treats to the whole company, all in the aid of charity.

There are also other ways to donate money to breast cancer charities. At The Breast Cancer site you can click on a big pink link and donate money to fund free mamograms. So that's one thing everyone can do.
This year we combined Wear it Pink with halloween and UKFast saw a myriad of weird and wonderful costumes. Amongst the ocean of pinked-up employees account managers were transformed into neon witches. And for one day only the tech support team included a jedi knight and a vampire. A great (if slightly spooky) day was had by all and we raised cash for a valuable cause.
In October 2007, the UKFast team were tickled pink to raise £274!
Pink slippers, belts, tank tops and scarfs were all put to creative use - well done to everybody who was brave enough to take part!
In 2006 UKFast happily raised £250, with an extra 28p/£ from the government - taking the total amount raised to £320! We even got our Head of Communications to wear pink pants!
