Unlike many of our rivals, at UKFast we are able to accommodate operating systems, settings and configurations in comprehensive, quick full system state server backups. Our managed backup also compares favourably against traditional tape backups, as disk backup is far more reliable and allows us to recover individual files easily and quickly.

Backups when you need them

UKFast uses hassle-free, timely back ups that keep your data safe. In order to avoid any unnecessary disruption to your business, we carry out backup when the network is at its quietest. However if it is more convenient for you to have your backups running during the day UK time, for instance if your business is based overseas, then this can also be arranged.

UKFast managed backup features:

• Weekly full system state server backup
• Daily incremental server backup, including your system state
• Scalable quotas starting from 25GB per server
• Option to choose customised managed backup, i.e. we can exclude files and directories which you don't wish to have backed up, similarly, we can include only specific directories and drives. Also you can request that your full server backup runs on a particular day at a particular time
• If you run out of quota for any reason, a 7 day grace period will be started and your quota will be automatically increased up to a maximum of 200GB. After the 7 days, your account manager will contact you to discuss your options
