UKFast to launch the next big ecommerce stars

Article date: Tue, 21 Jul 2009 12:23 GMT

UKFastTrack logo UKFast has launched a competition to find the next big online superstars, pledging to provide £15k of funding for each successful applicant to support their business projects. The UKFastTrack will fund and develop a selection of online businesses over an initial six month period and then continue to monitor their progress within their industries. In response to Google's claim that speeding up the internet is the key to success online, the R&D technicians at UKFast have developed the SEO Server. The competition will put the hardware to the test and combine it with marketing, web design and development consultancy to see how fast businesses can start to make serious money online. Rapid loading websites deliver happy customers and high Google rankings and research shows that this equates to a growing, profitable business. A 30% increase in page load speed can result in a 30% increase in customers. "To succeed in business you need to get your brand first in the queue for your customers' attention" says UKFast MD Lawrence Jones. "We have developed the SEO Server because speed is the most important factor to achieve this online." "The UKFastTrack is designed to showcase the amazing difference great internet hosting can make while also giving deserving business concepts the opportunity to flourish in difficult economic times." The first 5 candidates will be announced in September, with their business websites launching in November. To be considered for the UKFastTrack, you can fill out an application form online at www.ukfast.co.uk/ukfasttrack.html. For more information on the difference the SEO Server can make to your business visit the UKFast site at www.ukfast.co.uk/seo-servers.html or call 0800 458 4545.
