UKFast: Supporting Online Heroes
Article date: Fri, 18 Feb 2011 11:58 GMT
With research showing that 77 per cent of organisations are anticipating an increase in online revenues during 2011, UKFast believes it is more important than ever before to champion the unsung heroes of the web.
The latest report from CyberSource predicts massive growth online, and looking to the year ahead UKFast has once again announced its sponsorship of the ISPA award recognising the Internet Hero of 2011.
The ISPA describes the Internet Hero as, "the person or organisation that deserves recognition for promoting, developing or defending the interests of the Internet industry in the past year."
Lawrence Jones, MD of UKFast has long recognised the importance of supporting online pioneers and is proud to further his relationship with the ISPAs by supporting entrepreneurs on the web.
Jones comments, "Having received prestigious awards with ISPA over the years, we are aware of the rigorous process the trade body goes through to assess UK companies and discover true superstars."
"It is fantastic that they reward those that are not just using the web to sell their own products and services, but are benefitting the online environment as a whole."
UKFast is also the main sponsor of the Digital Entrepreneur Awards once again for 2011. This too is an organisation which aims to unite and congratulate the companies that are driving forward the frontiers of business online.
Jones adds, "We are all excited to see who is selected as the internet hero for 2011 and I for one will be lining up to shake them by the hand!"
