UKFast Levels Playing Field for SMEs with Cloud Solutions

Hosting and cloud specialist UKFast has teamed up with VMware to launch the latest addition to its award-winning UKFast Cloud Solutions range.

The UKFast Cloud Solutions Range offers an entry-level cloud solution for SMEs to harness the power of cloud technology. By re-engineering the technology, UKFast has enabled the sharing of the more expensive aspects - including nodes and SANs. This levels the playing field for SMEs, offering them access to the level of technology normally reserved for big businesses with big budgets.

Underpinned by VMware technology, UKFast's development of this innovative solution led to the company's recent accreditation as vCloud Powered Partners, a status that only a few UK businesses can boast.

While sharing key technologies, UKFast's Cloud Solutions incorporates dedicated virtual firewalls within highly-secure virtual data centres to provide a fully-secured cloud environment that is completely isolated from other users.

Lawrence Jones, CEO of UKFast, said: "We are always focussed on customer service and staying up-to-date with our customers' evolving business needs. We identified the massive gap between the cloud solutions that are available for SMEs and larger enterprises and set a course to make big technology accessible for the small company.

"Our experienced solutions architects along with our research and development team set to work and developed our UKFast Cloud Solutions Range. The latest UKFast Cloud Solutions package offers an entry-level cloud solution for SMEs to harness the benefits of the best in managed virtualised IT capabilities that would otherwise be out of reach."
