UKFast is the first to offer e-commerce Hyper-V servers in UK

New research shows that online shopping in the UK is set to hit £13.16 billion in the final quarter of 2008, and leading web hosting provider UKFast has the solutions for those businesses looking to grab a slice of the action.

Despite the credit crunch, shopping for Christmas presents online this year is going to boom by 15%, according to research from IMRG and Capgemini. December 8th is forecast to be the day that online shopping kicks into high gear as more and more present buyers choose to switch from the high street to the e-street.

So for those businesses wanting to secure a quick and cost-effective web presence in time for the festive rush UKFast has launched an exclusive virtualised server offer. Leveraging its close commercial partnership with Microsoft, UKFast has brought the first e-commerce Hyper - V server packages to the UK market by exclusively combining the brand new hardware with super efficient SQL database technology.

What is more, UKFast, the four-time ISPA 'Best Hosting Provider' winner, provides comprehensive hosting support and a rapid set-up process that means new clients can have their Hyper-V solution operational within hours.

"Many people want to talk of doom and gloom in the economy but we are not seeing this at all in the online sector," comments UKFast MD Lawrence Jones. "Online business continues to be strong and with Christmas around the corner it is poised to grow rapidly. "

"At UKFast, we take pride in have the best hosting solution available before our rivals. So we are delighted to be the first UK provider to offer Microsoft's e-commerce Hyper-V servers to clients as we head into the festive period," Lawrence adds.
