UKFast doubles data centre team to cater for growth

Leading Internet hosting provider UKFast has expanded its 24/7 engineering team at its data centres by 50% to service its expanding customer base. The development is the first phase in an extensive project in 2009 to scale-up operations.
UKFast has a reputation for excellence in customer service. It also prides itself on only employing the best. So the in-house recruitment department entered into an extensive three month search process to find the right calibre of candidates.
The new starters have undergone an extensive multi-aspect induction into all aspects of UKFast's state of the art facilities, from the maintenance of the high-performance, energy saving server solutions to the management of the high security data centre buildings.
And further appointments are on the cards in the next three months as UKFast is currently on the hunt for new data centre capacity to meet its growing client requirements. The North West is rapidly becoming a major data centre hub in the UK and UKFast is driving this forward by looking to secure its third data centre in the area. The company already has two, MaNOC and MaNOC 2, located close to its main office in the centre of Manchester.
