Internet hosting provider UKFast continues its growth at it holds its place as one of the top 5 fastest growing companies in the North West for a second year running.
Once again UKFast has made it into the top 50 of the Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
The Sunday Times Tech Track is intended to recognise Britain's top performing private companies and entrepreneurs. The paper comments on UKFast, stating: "Under managing director Lawrence Jones, sales have risen 53 per cent a year from £2.5m in 2006 to £9.1m in 2009."
With over 3,000 clients on the UKFast network, Jones maintains his entrepreneurial spirit, diversifying the company into various new industries over the last twelve months including the launch of new divisions, UKFast Green and MySort.
As the hosting company, which has just been announced as finalist in the MEN Business of the Year Awards continues to expand, there has been no let up on recruitment, with the business taking on more new starters each and every month.
Jones says, "The last year has seen a focus on grass roots development within the business, so to maintain our growth simultaneously sends a strong message about the quality of our people. As our new ventures gain pace, I expect to see accelerated results that will boost us up the list in 2011."
UKFast has recruited 3 sales trainers over the past few months, from blue chip industry leaders such as IBM, to develop the team to this next level.
Jones says that he hopes that by investing in the best trainers, he can equip the current team members to excel and also get new starters up to speed.
