UKFast wishes everyone a Happy Christmas and looks back over a successful 2008. In the last 12 months the hosting provider has exceeded even its own expectations, boasting the best business year since the company was founded in 1999. UKFast continues to be a cash rich company on the lookout for potential acquisitions in 2009.
Managing director, Lawrence Jones, commented: "I'm very pleased with UKFast's achievements this year and congratulate the team for doing so well.
"2009 will be the tenth year since UKFast's establishment and we're going to make it really special. This year has given us a firm platform to work from and to spur us on to new heights."

Further to this the company looks set to hit a target of around £7million turnover and has swelled team numbers to 70. UKFast now homes 250,000 businesses on its servers and has launched BASEfund to make the internet a safer place.
UKFast's offices and infrastructure have undergone a makeover. Improvements include the addition of a new data centre with plans for further development in 2009. The City Tower office now features structures to separate areas and a specialised raised platform area for video game play in break times.
The hosting provider has welcomed a number of new senior staff to its team including competitor Rackspace's sales director, Andrew Gibbens, ex-Sandhurst instructor Neil Clark and company accountant Kerry Gill. The new management team is already making a visible difference to the company as a whole, upholding UKFast's values and work ethic.
"2009 presents new challenges to us all at UKFast," said Lawrence. "Bring it on."
