G-Cloud iii accredited hosting company

G-Cloud iii accredited hosting company UKFast is the main sponsor of the upcoming Government ICT 2.0 Conference.

Held in the world famous QEII Conference Centre in Central London, the one-day event - formerly Efficient ICT - will examine current and emerging directions across ICT in the public sector. This will include the government's G-Cloud framework which aims to create an easier process for SMEs to pitch for tenders and diversify supplier lists.

Hosting and colocation firm UKFast became G-Cloud iii certified in May, and CEO Lawrence Jones has been impressed with how the programme has opened doors for smaller, more agile and innovative firms to provide services for the public sector.

Entrepreneur Jones is delighted that UKFast is sponsoring the event in September, which will explore how to overcome digital challenges; effective procurement as well as new applications, infrastructure and services.

He said: "Sponsoring an event like Government ICT 2.0, now in its sixth year, will see us stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the leaders and influential figures in the public sector ICT industry.

"We're pleased to give the event our full support, and hope to see large and small businesses alike thrive on the experiences and lessons learnt at the conference."

UKFast has been selected as a G-Cloud iii supplier of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), highlighting the firm's position as a leading provider of IT services in the UK. The firm also recently appointed Flex Pod expert Mark Walker to bring the Cisco, NetApp and VMware cloud range to UKFast for the first time, ramping up its growth in the public sector.
