Sale Sharks' latest star prospect James Gaskell announced his arrival on the new season with a man of the match performance against Bath on September 18th and main sponsors UKFast were there to hand over the Champagne.
The versatile Gaskell delivered a dominant forward display in a physical encounter with the West Country outfit and was picked as the top player on the pitch despite the disappointing result for the Sharks.
UKFast marketing director Paul Harris, resplendent in his Sharks replica shirt, presented James with his man of the match bottle of Champagne.
"This season is an exciting new start for the Sale Sharks," Paul commented. "UKFast has become the main sponsor and the team is looking to the future with great young talent like James. So I was delighted to be able to award the man of the match accolade to him."
