Peak performance by UKFast
Article date: Tue, 20 Apr 2004 00:00 GMT
Proving that no challenge is too big or too small, this month, UKFast the total Internet Service Provider, took on Mount Snowdon - and won.
At over 3,500ft (1,067m), Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales. However, the newly established UKFast mountaineering team proved worthy competitors, despite the 100 mile-an-hour winds and sub-zero temperatures experienced at the summit.
Conditions were grim, said Lawrence Jones, Managing Director of UKFast: But top professionals and athletes have a similar capacity for performance, team work and a results-driven mindset. So, we worked as a group, inspiring and equipping each other to take our performance to a higher level.
Richard Salisbury, Senior Graphic Designer at UKFast: The lift it gave the team was unbelievable, we'll carry on reaching for bigger and better goals in the future.
Preparations are currently in full swing for the next UKFast expedition.
