In The Pink - Raising money and networking

The Chamber joined forces with Breast Cancer Awareness month in October to host a charity event for Breast Cancer Care. John Walding, PR manager at the Greater Manchester Chamber gives us an inside eye on the event and Coronation Street star Julia Howarth speaks about the charity to a group of over 100 Manchester businesswomen.

The event took place on Monday 22 October at the City Inn in Manchester's Piccadilly area. Sponsored by the Pink Ladies, a luxury taxi company for women only, it was presented by Chamber Executive, Angie Robinson.

0 - 0:41 - John Walding introduces the fundraising night.

0:41 - 2:35 - Angie Robinson presents the evening and hands over to the events sponsors The Pink Ladies.

2:35 - 4:50 - The Pink Ladies talk about the need for women to feel as safe as possible traveling around the city and explain the way their members only taxi firm works.

4:50 - 10:28 - Angie Robinson introduces Julia Howarth, who talks about Breast Cancer Care, offering some startling statistics about Breast Cancer and promoting the Charity.
