If you prefer, view this online. Dear newsletter subscriber, Welcome to January's Websight. Launching into the New Year at full pelt, we held our latest round table discussions on SEO and the state of online travel to gage what our peers were expecting from the year ahead. Sharing our findings in our 'expert view' section, we look at how site speed is becoming an increasing concern across all aspects of the internet. Along with our 'news' this month our 'spotlight' also focuses on our partners at CommentLuv. Created to encourage interaction within online publishing, the CommentLuv wordpress plugin has become wildly popular and receives over 300 blog posts a month since choosing UKFast as its dedicated hosting provider. In 'enhance your solution' we also look at the benefits of our new DNS platform which goes live next week. Until then... Happy reading! Best regards, The team at UKFast |

UKFast launches new DNS platform After months in development and even more in testing, our new DNS platform is ready to go live! Engineers are scheduling in the work for Friday 5th February between the hours of 01:00 and 03:00. During this time service will remain unaffected as we bring the new system online before decommissioning the old one. So what does our new SafeDNS platform provide?

Experts share their knowledge at UKFast's round tables Following on from the focus groups we have run with clients over the years we now hold regular round table events in order to share ideas and provide inspiration for aspiring companies across the web. Focusing on Search Engine Optimisation and online travel in 2010, our latest bi-monthly focus groups offered a fantastic insight into the state of the industries through the eyes of their leading experts. Sharing their time and thoughts on their post-recession plans were representatives from Travelzoo, CSI Media, High Position, The Mersey Partnership and And Digital, among many others.
Key talking points that were identified from the discussions were the growing importance of site speed, social media sites and how the introduction of applications for the iPhone and Google's Nexus One will see cross channel communication reach new levels in 2010. For more information on the results from the January round tables go to the press office on the UKFast website. If you are interested in getting involved and hearing more about the upcoming discussion topics, please contact Jonathan Bowers on 0844 576 3909 or email jonathan.bowers@ukfast.co.uk. |

With UKFast I've noticed, and users of the app have also noticed, that this now happens rapidly.
