Welcome to the UKFast Newsletter page.

UKFast has been sending out a monthly newsletter to its clients since 2004. In 2006 we discovered wider interest in the articles within the publication and began allowing subscription from non clients. We created this page at the beginning of 2007 to allow anyone access to our newsletters and the tips and advice given.

November 2008

Welcome to November's Websight. This month we look at Yahoo's tribulations, why Hulu is matching YouTube in revenues and how the supermarkets are gearing up to battle for the online Christmas shopper.

And as usual we have more helpful tips on making the most of your UKFast solution.

October 2008

Welcome to UKFast's new look newsletter. We want to make our monthly newsletter a greater asset for you, so that the time you invest in reading it will be time well spent.

We have shaped the new format to allow us to provide you with a full range of articles that reflect our expert knowledge of the online business world. So included in this month's packed edition is a look at the big stories in our industry, advice on maximising your online marketing, an insightful spotlight on the utilities industry and tips on getting the most out of your UKFast hosting solution.

Also look out for our sections on new products, competitions, ways to save money and enticing extras.

September 2008

September has proven to be a very exciting month for us at UKFast. We have welcomed three new staff members to our senior management ranks. The appointments represent a milestone for UKFast as we embark on the next stage of our successful growth plan. Read more about the new team members in our spotlight section below.

We have also been named as a finalist in the prestigious MEN Business of the Year awards. We are now preparing for the next stage of the evaluation process. Read more about this in our news round-up.

Meanwhile, our Tech Tip this month promotes the virtues of Virtual Private Servers, while the Marketing Minute will help you to optimise your website pages. We also have our usual news round up that covers everything we have been doing this past month. And the second part of our video interview about the UKFast - UK Grid alliance is included.

August 2008

It's the end of August so the end of summer. Where was it exactly? Not to worry, hopefully our August newsletter will bring a beam of metaphorical sunshine to your day!

Once again we have packed our periodical with all of the latest UKFast news, including our new multi-million pound data centre alliance, tech and marketing tips and a spotlight on one of our clients.

July 2008

July is here and the hot summer that we have been waiting for has now finally arrived. The only problem is that the weather forecast suggests it will be over by the weekend! Nether-the-less there has been plenty going on at UKFast to brighten our days.

Our charity work has continued apace, we have welcomed eight new members of staff and launched a brand new website for our partners, and soon-to-be Formula 1 hosts, Donington Park.

In this month's newsletter the Tech Tip promotes the virtues of having a Change Management System in place, while the Marketing Minute examines the benefits to hosting in Britain. The Spotlight reveals how Web247.net is offering multilingual websites. And, of course we have the usual round-up of UKFast news.

June 2008

In June, UKFast announced that our company is growing, we're currently expanding through acquisitions as well as taking on a number of outstanding people.

This month's Tech Tip addresses the issue of regulating internet usage within the office environment and the Marketing Minute offers some valuable tips for a successful ecommerce website.

Finally, the Spotlight looks at software packages that give you a fast and robust way to share information with others within your company.

May 2008

We've been raising money for charity this month by completing The Great Manchester Run and our tech team has been working hard to bring you an expanded range of packages.

We're also offering some advice on how to sanitise your data input and recycle your website content. Finally the spotlight focuses on Caunce O'Hara, a UKFast client which has used their website to achieve phenomenal online success.

April 2008

UKFast is on tour this month! We've had a fantastic time meeting clients and potential customers at the Internet World exhibition in Earl's Court, London. Our company growth is also storming ahead with several new appointments.

This month's edition of the newsletter includes our marketing minute which focuses on choosing the right keywords to drive traffic to your website and the tech tip reveals how to tweak your dedicated firewall rules for added security.

March 2008

After a snowy Easter, spring has finally arrived and here at UKFast we've been setting records with our fourth consecutive win at the ISPAs. We've also been expanding our team in terms of customer service and spurring innovation using O'Reilly, an online library service.

Our marketing minute looks at server speed and its relationship with SEO and the spotlight focuses on eFrame, a UKFast client which has achieved phenomenal online growth.

This month at UKFast we've been encouraging graduates to stay in the North West with a huge recruitment drive.

Our tech tip focuses on keeping your login accounts up to date and the marketing minute gives you a guide on how to enhance your ranking with directory submissions.

Finally, we're shining the spotlight on the winners of the Best Functionality Website 2007 - Selesti's Holden Mobility.

We've hit the ground running this year promoting Manchester as a digital city and in the first edition of the 2008 newsletter, we're offering you an insight into UKFast with a video promo.

We take security very seriously at UKFast and we've added another layer of security for your solution. Plus, this month's marketing minute gives you some advice on creating the perfect landing pages.

And finally, we're shining the spotlight on the winners of the Best Community website in our 2007 Internet Awards - Linux Format.
