How do you choose the right server replication solution for your business?

- Master-Master - As the name suggests, this system uses two master servers both of which are always online. If one server fails there is another with the exact same data ready to take over and continue as normal. Once the failed master is live again it will automatically get back in sync. - Master-Slave - In this case one server is the master to which you can write all data. All data is replicated to the slave server, one-way support, sharing the load but if the master server fails at any time failover is a manual process.
