Having previously established Manchester's premier corporate hospitality agency, Lawrence saw an opportunity to establish his next business at the heart of a burgeoning industry and created UKFast in 1999 to fill a gap in the UK hosting sector.
Thanks to his vision the company has grown year on year without fail, even featuring for the second year running in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast50 list. A feat which has seen Lawrence collect the coveted Institute of Directors title of Young Director of the Year in 2007 and also be named in Crain's Manchester 40 under 40, as well as becoming a regional finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2008.
