Lawrence and Gail Jones set up UKFast in 1999 after experiencing poor hosting services themselves. They believed that they could do better, so they did.

The tech team is also regularly invited to the company's retreat in picturesque Snowdon to build team spirit and challenge themselves and each other in mountain climbing, raft building and all sorts of other physical and mental agility tests.
