 Internet agency 11 Out Of 10 has been recognised for its e-commerce and online shopping sites by winning a highly prized internet award. The Manchester outfit has just been awarded Best E-commerce Site 2007 for its work with gadget company, Global Gizmo's in UKFast's annual Internet awards. The company fought off strong competition to win the award. Previous winners include Sainsbury's. The company created and developed the website that enabled Global Gizmos to get off to a flying start, pulling in well over £100,000 in sales within their third month of operation. Global Gizmos' initial investment in the website and search engine marketing was less than £10,000 in total. Global Gizmos now exports regularly to the USA, Canada and Australia and sells a wide range of equipment, such as satellite navigation tools and high performance training monitors for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Lawrence Jones, managing director of UKFast and one of the judging panel said: "11 Out Of 10 has shown that smaller suppliers can really deliver. It is a trend we have noticed in this year's competition. It's quality of ideas, staff and service rather than size that really counts." | |
